Watching several med student study videos, I've reached two conclusions. 1) No one reads the text books. 2) You're going to forget 80% of the smaller details you sucked up for the exam, but keep the big picture clear; that way, details that are encountered again and again have a place to go.

staying calm is so hard for me especially if i know that my subject is so hard! so what i do is i avoid caffeine because it makes me anxious. anyway, thank you so much for the tips! i will surely rewatch this if im nervous before my exam to remind myself to stay calm 😂

Hey Ashley, great video as usual! The part about going blank due to stress hit hard, TOO hard! The Anatomy Oral Exam was NOT as difficult as many of us anticipated, and I can swear WITH MY EYES CLOSED that on any given day, if you had asked me those same questions, I would have answered them at a moment's notice. The day before the exam, however, I was low on sleep, woke up late (had to leave to campus without eating breakfast), ended up getting first group AND first round in the entire cohort, aaannnndddd, I did well, but messed up on several easy questions due to blanking out.

I had my model exams (pre finals) and even before that, I always end up getting tibia and fibula on my osteology exam and not any one of the upper limb bones and it sucks because they always ask me the muscle attachments 😭😭😭 every single time. I did good so hopefully my finals so well as well *fingers crossed* So glad to see you done with exams~~
